I love cooking, baking and all things homemade. I am an enthusiastic novice at all three
Tartan Pancakes is my way of sharing my kitchen and crafty triumphs and failures. A way for me to record my favourite recipes and challenge myself to try new things and perfect the old.
There are alot of baking recipes I want to try so be ready for lots of cakes! But there will also be other things as well.
I work full-time so tend to lean towards quick and easy recipes, especially when it comes to mid-week teas. I am also always on the look out for cheap eats and budget recipes.
I am a 27 year old lass living in Scotland with a weakness for chocolate, cheese and sunny days.
I am new to this so I would love to hear any feedback, comments or general chat. You can contact me by email tartanpancakes@hotmail.com or on twitter @tartanpancakes.

What a great idea, especially since Christmas has become so commercialized! Yout apple and cinnamon muffin recipe looks delicious. Definitely going to make some! Good luck on your adventure and thanks for stopping by my blog, Sugar Talk. If you’re looking for ideas, check out the Wine Bar Nut Mix recipe on my Pinterest board. Super easy to make, and it makes a great gift! http://pinterest.com/rachelvecchio/baking/

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog and bringing me here. I love pumpkin seeds! Well, I love all things pumpkin. Alas, I currently live in Chile and it’s not doing much for my October baking. Enjoy!
Chile might have no pumpkins but I bet you have lots of lovely sun! Not much of that in scotland at the mo!
Ooooh, I really like your about page – mainly because you’re spending the year planning Christmas! I LOVE Christmas…. when ever i’m sad or angry I either call my Mum or google/pinterest Christmas. Works a treat every-time!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing my love of Christmas- only 51 days to go!
I’m already hoping that your blog has a life beyond Christmas, but in the meantime I’ll be reading it!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking the mini pumpkin pie croissants recipe. They really are fantastic. I highly recommend them. I also have another recipe with the same ingredients but I added butterscotch chips, pecans, and coconut. I think I called it pumpkin butterscotch croissants with pecans and coconut. Luscious! I hope you try them sometime and let me know what you think of them.
Whoo with butterscotch chips sounds amazing! I will def be trying them, will let you know when I do!
P.S I nominated you for the Beautiful Blogger Award.
Thank you! I think you will love the recipe. It’s versatile. If you want to do pumpkin and chocolate chips I think that would work too! Even pumpkin and cinnamon chips…..
